Making sure that your test morning is stress-free is a great way to maximize your ACT scores. Get plenty of sleep, be sure you know where your testing center is located, and gather your materials together the day before your test.
You will need to bring the following items with you to your testing center:
- Your admission ticket – you will be prompted to print this from your ACT student web account after you register. If you lose it or cannot print it at that time, you must log back into your ACT student web account to print an additional ticket before your test date.
- An acceptable form of photo identification. For further information about acceptable identification, click here.
- Sharpened No. 2 pencils with erasers.
- An acceptable calculator. Note that it is your responsibility to check on the ACT website that your calculator is acceptable. Note that some common graphing calculators, such as the TI-89, are prohibited.
- A watch (no audible alarms allowed)
These items are not allowed:
- Snacks or drinks
- Scratch paper
- Dictionaries, books, notes
- Cell phone, pager, iPod, PDA, MP3 player, camera, or any other electronic equipment
- Highlighters, colored pencils, white-out
- Tobacco products
