Ready to sign up for the ACT? These simple guidelines will help you through the registration process:

• The easiest and fastest way to register for the ACT is online. To register online and pay your child’s registration fees via credit card, please visit the ACT’s registration website.
• If you need to register by mail, check if your high school has ACT registration packets. You must register by mail if you need to pay with a check or money order, are younger than 13, or are requesting special test accommodations for the first time.
• If you miss the registration date, check the late registration dates listed on the ACT student website.
• The ACT registration fee is $32 without the optional Writing section, and $47 with the Writing section included. If you register late, there is an additional late registration fee of $21.
• Fee waivers are available for some eligible students.
• When you register, you can select up to four colleges to receive your ACT scores at no additional charge. If you wish to add a fifth or sixth college at the time of registration, you can do so for $9 each. You also have the option of sending your scores later, after you’ve seen them.
